Andrew Armstrong and I got married in February 2006, 17 years and counting. We have three children Oakley, Zoey and Paisley. We are always busy running from one sporting event to the next. We owned Drew's Sport Bar & Grille for 14 years. We sold the business in 2020 to Andrew's sister Chelsea Hanson. I worked full time at the school as a Special Ed para but just recently switched to the Activities, Transportation and Nutrition Secretary.

Graduated from 3 colleges, AA-Education, AAS-PTA degree, BS in Biology, works as a PT Assistant. Traveled around the world as a military spouse.

Daniel Collins

Class of 1973

I continued to work at the Elkader Plating Plant after graduation until August 1974 when I took a job with the Iowa Department of Transportation in Elkader. I worked at this job until May 2017 when I retired - Almost 43 years! I married Diane Kuehl in June 1976. We have 3 children, Brian, Darrin and Stephanie. They have blessed us with 6 grandchildren who keep us very busy. We worked our jobs in town and also farmed south of town until 1997 when we moved to town. I substitute as a bus driver for Central. I enjoy motorcycle riding, side by side riding and spending time on our acreage by the airport. Deceased July 21, 2002

I am currently the Elementary Secretary and Alumni Coordinator for Central Community School. I am married to Ryan Burke (also Class of '04) and we have two kids, Owen and Oriana. Together, we own Think Custom in Elkader, Iowa.

I am married and we have a 12 year old boy. I planted my family roots back in Elkader and work at Central as an Associate. My family and I love to travel and adventure every free chance we get.

I’m an RN, I currently work from home as a Case Manager. I have 3 children: Conner (8), Ava (5), Brayden (2). Conner and Ava both attend Central and once Brayden is old enough he will too.

After Central I went to Kirkwood Community College for one year and then on to Upper Iowa University to study art. I taught at Central from 1972 to 1978 in the art department. My wife, Marjorie, and I have two sons, both Central grads. I moved into the agricultural field, working for the Elkader Co-op and then as a grain merchandiser. My final full-time "gig" was as a district field manager for the Iowa Corn Growers Association. I am now retired, but serve in several volunteer positions around Elkader. I love golf, and my wife thinks I love yard work and gardening.

I am in my second year at the University of Northern Iowa and studying Athletic Training and Rehabilitation Studies. Outside of school, I work as a PT Tech at Cedar Valley Physical Therapy. I enjoy working out, reading, and spending time with my family and friends in my free time!

I currently live outside of Elkader with my wife, Angel. We have two daughters, Alivia (19) and Maci (15). I have worked for the last 20 years for Keppler Custom Hire, heading the excavation operations of the business.

I graduated from Mount Mercy College in 1980 with a BSN, and from University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas with my MSN in 1991. I am currently a nurse consultant, have 2 daughters and live in Elkader.

I enlisted in the US Navy after graduation, and served aboard the USS Altair, with a home base of Barcelona, Spain. After my discharge, I returned to Elkader and married Sandra Lemka. After working at several part time jobs, I began my career with the U S Postal Service, and was appointed as Postmaster in 1974. I’m retired and live in Elkader.

After graduation I worked at the Elkader Wire Plant in the office. In July 1974 I started working at the Clayton County Treasurer's office, where I worked a month shy of 43 years. I married Dan Collins in June 1976. We had 3 children - Brian, Darrin and Stephanie. We worked at our jobs and also farmed until 1997 when we sold the farm and moved to town. Dan and I both retired in May 2017. I substitute at Central when needed and help with our 6 grandchildren. I am enjoying retirement and hoping to do some traveling in the future.

I have worked as a secretary in the Elkader area since graduating. My final position was as Administrative Assistant to the Superintendent at Central. Working at Central was my favorite job! I am retired and still live in Elkader. Gerry and I celebrated our 62nd wedding anniversary last year.

Married to James Bergan (Central 09) graduate. We are expecting our first child in June. I am the Clayton County Farm Service Agency’s Executive Director and have worked for the Farm Service Agency for 7 years.

Retired from being a Public Librarian for many years , have been married to 1969 graduate Ed Patrick for 48 years and have a daughter Heather and son Benjamin.

Robin Rochleau Landis

Class of 2014

In 2015 I went to LaJames College in Mason City where I studied Massage Therapy. Once I received my license I moved to Des Moines to be near my boyfriend, Evan Landis(also Central alumni). I worked as a fully time Nanny and part time massage therapist. In 2017 we purchased and renovated our first home, in 2018 we got engaged, and in 2020 we got married. We found out we were expecting in May of 2021 and decided to sell our house in Des Moines and move closer to our families. In October of 2021 we temporarily moved to McGregor, IA and we welcomed our daughter Emmie in January of 2022. I’ve been a stay-at-home parent since and Evan works in the IT field. In November of 2022 we purchased Evan’s childhood home in Elkader and are currently renovating and restoring it(whenever we can find the time).
